Richard joined Xaar as a non-executive director on 1 June 2023. He is Chair of the Audit Committee and the Senior Independent Director. Richard is a qualified Chartered Accountant with over 30 years’ experience, having started his career at EY in 1988. From 2000 to 2020, Richard served as an executive on the boards of five companies listed on the London Stock Exchange, most recently as Chief Financial Officer of Wilmington plc, Chief Financial Officer of Plant Impact plc and Group Finance Director of Anite plc. He is currently a non-executive director at Thruvision Group plc (AIM: THRU), where he serves as the senior independent director, chair of the audit and nomination Committees and is a member of the of the remuneration committee. Richard is also the non-executive chairman of Skillcast Group plc (AIM: SKL) where he also serves as a member of the audit and remuneration committees.
